The FNA 045 Off-line Filter Units of Argo Hytos is specifically used in the off-line circuits of hydraulic and lubricating oil systems. It has an operating pressure of up to 4 bar (58 psi), a nominal flow rate of up to 45 l/min (12 gpm), and tank capacities of up to 5.000 l (1.300 gl). Its robust design features a fold-out handle at the cover facilitate opening. Pipes aren't required except on connection lines because the the filter element can be replaced without losing any oil. The device has reduced noise output and low power consumption. To protect the unit from overload, an integreted pressure relieif valve ensures that the dirt in the filer is eliminated together with the element. The filter element of the unit has a flow direction going from the center to the outside. It is capable of low pressure drop, high dirt-holding capacities, and long service life. Furthermore, a clogging indicator indicates the correct moment for maintenance.

The FNA 040-553 off-line filter unit features an operating pressure of up to 8 bar or 116 psi and a nominal flow rate of up to 40 l/min or 10.6 gpm. The product can hold up to 5000 l of tank volumes. For its operation, the unit is independent on the working cycles of the system and can be used as an additional off-line filter unit or as a sole system filter for continuous improvement of the oil cleanliness.

These filters are built with protection against corrode through extremely fine filter components that satisfy the requirements for dirt-holding capacity and cleanliness classes. These also have malfunction security through fixed filtration in the off-line circuits resulting to optimum cleanliness classes.

FNA 008 is best suited for application in off-line filtration in lubricating and hydraulic oil systems.

The FNS 040-105 off-line filter is used to filter permanently solid particles and water from hydraulic oil. The manometer displays the clogging of filter element. The FNS off-line filter uses a flow control valve to connect to a high pressure pipe with an inlet pressure of up to 320 bar (minimum inlet pressure approx. 20 bar). Depending upon the inlet pressure, the flow rate is kept constant at approx. 6 l/min. The filter offers a nominal flow rate of approx. 6 l/min, up to 320 bar operating pressure and approx. 350 ml water capacity. The filter offers simple retrofitting with high component protection, higher availability and longer machine lifetime. Downtime is minimized due to contamination

The X type is used with crosshead engine, the T type with trunk piston engines and the Combined Cleaning Unit (CCU) with trunk piston engines that operate up to 5,000kW. Some of the T and X models come with a special diversion chamber that will collect particles coming from the full-flow chamber which makes it a maintenance-free sludge treatment system.
