Software-controlled elastic actuators are integrated with a technology that is based on fast torque control. This technology allows the emulation of life-like physical elastic characteristics. The creation of spring like effects without the need of actual springs are therefor possible. Even sophisticated non-linear attributes and different damping effects can be created. This actuators features such as stiffness and elasticity as well as position, speed and torque can be easily controlled. It can perform positive and negative damping as well.

They complete Martins offer to the food industry but not only that. They are in fact an important product when designing machineries where stainless steel is not an option.
Stainless steel knob
The locking knob is manufactured by Martin. It is designed with a female or male stainless steel knob along with lobes and/or millings. It features different dimension which are 40 up to 65 mm, 14 to 20 mm, or 25 to 40 mm. Other dimension ranges available are 12.5 to 20 mm and 18 to 25 mm.
