One-way clutch without internal bearings / for integration - max. 1 063 Nm | AS series

The AS series is composed of non-bearing-supported built-in one-way clutches developed by STIEBER. These bearings are needed to support axial and radial loads. When installing, these bearings must be lubricated and sealed. Compared to the 62 Series of ball bearings, they have the similar nominal outer dimensions. The inner race is keyed to the shaft except for the 6 mm bore. On the other hand, the outer race has a positive r6 tolerance to give be compatible in a H7 housing. This outer housing must have sufficient strength to avoid expansion after assembly.

One-way clutch without internal bearings / for integration - max. 44 500 Nm | ASNU series

The ASNU series by Stieber is a non-bearing supported built-in one way clutch which serves as a support to an axial and radial loads. Upon installation, it should be provided with a sealing and lubrication for efficient use. It comes with a nominal outer diameter which is just the same as for 63 ball bearing series. This is ideal to install bearing that has same location tolerance. On the other hand, its outer race has a positive n6 tolerance which enables it to give a press fit in a H7 housing. For additional side notches, it gives the outer race to have a positive torque transmission. Plus, it has a housing that has K6 tolerance.

One-way clutch without internal bearings / for integration - DC series

The DC series features a cage and race assembly, which results to a non-bearing supported freewheel. The bearing support is ideal for use in operations where axial and loads are needed together with lubrication and sealing. The sprag space tolerance of the model should not go beyond when any bearing clearances or mounting tolerances are considered. The taper between races must not go beyond 0.007 mm for a 25 mm width.

The external races type-A and type-B must be pressed into enclosures that will not deform after assembly. The DC series is manufactured by Stieber Clutch.

One-way clutch without internal bearings / for integration - max. 44 375 Nm | NF series

The Type NF is a Non-bearing-supported built-in one-way clutch from Stieber. It has bearings that support the axial and radial loads. This uses oil as a standard lubricating medium that is needed during installation together with a proper sealing. The clutch is usually installed beside the bearing with the same housing tolerance. It is offered with a nominal outside diameter as a standard ball bearing dimension. The inner race is installed to the shaft, while the outer race has an N6 tolerance in order to fit in an H7 housing. It is offered with additional side notches for a better torque transmission.

Plug clutch - MT series

The MT Series from Hilliard is an overrunning clutch that integrates high torque and high-speed capabilities, simple field repair, and low price. The wedge ramp technology offers better bore sizes. The dual-source consists of blowers, pumps, and fans. Furthermore, the device is suitable with these applications such as press ink rolls, coal feeders, press feeds, honing machines, and speed reducers.

Plug clutch - max. 50 in/lbs | D-Series Tiny-Clutch

The TINY-CLUTCH D series represents a range of miniature rollers and cam type, one way clutches built according to specific equipment requirements, eliminating any loose parts. These units are often used to override the input of a driven member, load backstopping and conversion of oscillating motion into rotary motion. Based on the proven cam and roller principle, these models offer long and problem free operation (no chance of jamming in the free direction), with almost no backlash and high free-wheeling speeds. The rollers feature spring activation, firmly fixed and centered in a drilled pocket. The housing is also equipped with a knurled knob, permitting pulley, gear or sprocket installation, while the cam is attached to the shaft via screw, pin or key. All components are made out of hardened steel.

Plug clutch - max. 15 in/lbs | CR-Series Tiny-Clutch

The CR-Series Tiny-Clutches are captured roller and cam assemblies that are installed in the housing. As they are designed to be built into the user's equipment, loose parts are eliminated and work is enhanced. The clutches use a proven cam and roller principle for a trouble-free performance.

They employ a positive operation type which results in a no-slip driving action. A near zero backlash is also featured in the clutches, thus keeping them from jamming when used in a free direction. The instruments are made with free-wheeling speeds that last a long service life, as well as positively-oriented retainers which are fastened to the cam.

The clutches are available in five models which work in maximum speeds that range from 4500 RPM to 7000 RPM.

Indexing one-way clutch - max. 80 in/lbs | A-Series Tiny-Clutch

A-Series Tiny-Clutches are miniature roller and cam type single revolution clutches. With a non-overheating property, the device works with a fast response and a high torque capacity for a given size. A pulley, gear, or an A-Series Roller Clutchsprocket installed on the housing shoulder of the clutch applies power to its enclosure. The cam is then pinned to the driven shaft.

The series is available in four models: A62, A75, A106, and A125. These models work within maximum speeds that range from 2500 RPM to 7000 RPM and maximum torques that go from 15 in/lbs to 80 in/lbs.

The device can be used as a general purpose, quick-acting clutch for selectively coupling a continuously rotating input and a driven shaft.
