COROFLEX treater stations are designed for
film widths from 900-3900 mm.

Only an history and a very long experience can allow you to manufacture treaters able to guarantee a complete reliability as these big producing plants require. Tantec RotoTEC-X is used for in-line treatment of injection moulded parts prior to coating, printing, gluing, painting etc. Often the RotoTEC-X is also used simply for optimising adhesion properties of a given substrate. The RotoTEC-X ensures a very uniform treatment process and offers the user full process control of all parameters.

The RotoTEC-X offers a cost-effective method for optimising the adhesion properties of printing inks, coatings, glue and paint on any surface made of polymer material including the commonly used polypropylene and polyethylene.

This universal system developed by Tantec operates with patented rotating electrode elements resulting in complete and uniform treatment of parts. These self-contained units can be installed within existing production lines or used as an off-line treating process.

The system includes a high- frequency generator, high-voltage transformer, rotary electrodes, ozone filter and customised stand-alone or bench-top treating station.

The purpose of corona treatment is to optimise the adhesion properties on polymer-based materials. The low surface energy of polymer-based substrates often leads to poor adhesion of inks, glues and coatings which by nature present significantly high surface energies. To obtain optimum adhesion, it is crucial that the surface energy of the substrate is equal or higher than the surface energy of the material to be applied to the polymer.

SyrinTEC offers a cost-effective method for optimising the adhesion properties of printing inks and coatings onto disposable syringes made from low surface energy polymers like PP and others.

This universal corona treater operates with highly durable ceramic electrodes, resulting in complete and uniform treatment of the entire circumference of the syringe barrel.

In practice corona pre-treatment has become one of the most common processes used for surface refinement. This method increases the surface energy of plastics and improves wettability and adhesion. The final effect achieved by the treatment depends on various parameters, including electrode efficiency, duration of the corona discharge, type of material being treated, temperature and moisture, any contamination, surface stability and similar factors.

NeedleTEC's ability to treat difficult to reach recesses makes this simple to use system a safe treatment solution for needle hubs. The benefit of improved wettability is that the adhesive will spread evenly on the hub that connects to a stainless-steel cannula and thereby prevents fluids from leaking.
