Primary switchgear / hybrid - 31.5 - 40 kA, 72.5 - 100 kV | PASS M00

ABB PASS M00 is the hybrid switchgear module up to 100 kV voltage level and breaking current up to 31.5 kA. Utilizing and expanding on the operating principles of PASS M0 (145-170 kV) series, which has been a huge success with more than 800 bays sold globally in only 3 years.

With PASS M00, all the functions of a bay are connected in a single module with the operating and interrupting functions integrated within a single SF6 housing. Easy-to-install and fully transportable, PASS M00 is highly reliable due to SF6 technology and exceptionally dynamic when drafting substation layouts/planning solutions. PASS M00 features a five positions disconnector with mobile contacts integrated in the chamber itself.

PASS M00 is available in two configurations: Single Bus Bar (SBB) and Double Bus Bar (DBB).

Primary switchgear / hybrid - 40 - 63 kA, 145 - 170 kV | PASS M0 series

This heavy switchgear by APP has several applications which include air-insulated substations with confined spaces and/or arduous climatic conditions. The PASS offers a system solution for reduced erection and delivery time either for retrofit, extensions or green-field projects.

Some of the advantages include: a gas-insulation technology, a design which fits all substation configurations, reduced space for installation (up to 60% less), advanced substation design, installation time per bay of just one day with respect to the basic technology, and fast delivery.

Primary switchgear / hybrid - 40 - 50 kA, 245 kV | PASS M0S

The PASS MOS 252 kV has been available in the market for many years already. It is made with a verified and tested rotating joined disconnector and an earthing switch. It also has 50 kA breaking current. On the other hand, the newest and fast transportable PASS 420 kV is designed with a 63 kA breaking current and has the capability to provide erection for three days and commissioning time which makes it the best choice when the hours are limited. Both of these are from the line of ABB PASS MOSS hybrid modules where PASS designed philosophy was applied.

Primary switchgear / hybrid - max. 63 kA, 420 kV | PASS M0S

PASS MOS a Plug and Switch System belongs to the high-voltage hybrid switch gear family from ABB. It functions as a complete switch gear bay in a single module. PASS MOS uses traditional air-insulated busbars to connect with other equipment in the substation while enclosing bay functions in a single phase gas-insulated housing such as - circuit breaker combined disconnector and earthing switches voltage transformers; voltage sensors current transformers motor drive option; fast earthing switch option; plug in cables option. The PASS modules are assembled and tested in the factory and are ready for quick installation and energization. PASS is available in many configurations including single/double busbar.

High-voltage switchgear - 40 - 50 kA, 72.5 - 245 kV | PASS M0 H

PASS MO H is designed as a multi-functional high voltage connection network with an H configuration. It is compatible for systems that have a voltage of 72.5 kV to 170 kV. It automatically reduces its voltage to a minimum for the substation activities in both civil and electrical engineering, the logistics and lessen the costs and risk of interference for the required manpower for electromechanical assembly works and on-site testing. It is completely assembled and fully tested in the factory which can be transported easily. Also, includes its own protection and control system that can be easily and quickly installed.

Primary switchgear / gas-insulated / hybrid - 123 - 145 kV, 40 kA | HYpact series

HYpact is a manufactured hybrid compact switchgear that is made up of disconnectors, circuit breakers and earthing switches. It can be affixed with voltage & current transformers and cable connectors. It allows more creations and operations of economic substations. Some of the benefits that HYpact can provide is its ability to conserve space and can be used even in areas that are ample, less exposure of switch-yard on environmental influences. It also has a modular structure that is permitting a huge variety of various lay out set ups. These are one of the few reasons why operators prefers using HYpact.
