Wuntronic CG400 is the fastest PCI frequency synthesizer card presently available in the market. The internal clock speed is 1.0 GHz with accuracy of <1ppm over temperature and voltage. Clock rates can be programmed in the 100 kHz to 400 MHz range with resolution of 0.23 Hz. Standard output designs are LVDS and complementary 3.3V PECL. It provides several other features such as low phase noise, locking to an external 10 Mhz and master input clock override on the DDS. It offers a 1.0 Ghz output.

CG400 also provides user defined logic. It has auxiliary complementary outputs that allow programming for all possible user requirements. Any logic implementation present at the factory or given by the user can be downloaded for free. Users also have the permission to download their own designs. The software driver is a 32-bit Windows DLL. It can work with all Microsoft C compilers.

It is compliant to mode-locked Ti: Sapphire ocsillator. It also produces 500.000 precise laser lines that has a 200 MHz equal spacing.

To generate an octave spanning spectrum, the output from the laser is spectrally broadened in a photonic fiber. Between the 1,064-nm and 532-nm components, the offset frequency is generated.

The device is operated with 10-14 accuracy rates, 5 x10-13 in 1 sec., including 630-850 nm output port 1 and 532, 1,064-nm output port 2. It is equipped with an automated comb control and a data acquisition software system.
