The H3 and H5 transmitters measure humidity using a very accurate, capacitive and condensation resistant sensor integrated into a silicon microchip which is also called "humi-chip".
This technology gives excellent long-term stability, high reliability and accurate process measurements. It also has an accurate dewpoint calculation because of the integration of the temperature compensation sensor with the humidity sensor. The humi-chip can be replaced easily and is pre-calibrated, so users need not calibrate it again.
There are three types of sensor filters for use in aggressive chemical, clean or dusty environments. The filters are replaceable and interchangeable. The H3 and H5 series will function not only as temperature and humidity transmitters, but also compute for dewpoint and the difference between temperature and dewpoint temperature.
