In order to do the leak test, the line to be tested is connected to MSI-P7 and one pressure measurement hose. To the prescribed pressure the Drager MSI-P7 is fully automatically increases the pressure in the gas line. The leak test can also be performed in 10 to 15 minutes with the P7 plus and in accordance with TRD, data sheet ZVSHK and DVGW-TRGI 2008. In addition to all the functions of the MSI-P7, the P7 plus can take on extra tasks like liquid gas line tests, water pipe tests, regulator tests and pressure measurement up to 5bar.

This fully automatic leak inspection machine has been developed to ensure that ampoules are appropriately seals. This pinhole inspection machine can detect small cracks and microscopic pinholes, as well as ampoules that have not been adequately sealed or are of inferior thickness. Ampoules are loaded by infeed belt or are loaded automatically by the machine. The entire ampoule (neck, body, base and tip) are all inspected by the machine for imperfections using high voltage. The rejects are removed into a separate tray, while properly sealed units are either placed into removal trays, or continue to the next machine in the process.
