N7109A is a signal analyzer that features 2, 4 or 8 RF channels and harnesses the MIMO and multi channel capabilities of the class leading Agilent 89600 VSA software. This device enables informative and speedy measurements of WiMAX, Wlan and LTE devices that range from 2x2 to 4x4 to 8x8 channels. Furthermore, the N7109A signal analyzer is packed into a modular yet small measurement platform. this system can be configured with one, two or four N7130A two-channel receiver modules, These modules provide 40 MHz bandwidth that ranges from 20 MHz to 6 GHz.

Each channel is fitted with a preamp and several fixed pre selectors, which make it possible and optimize off the air measurements. Additionally, each of these channels can be configured individually to measure several component carriers for advanced LTE Carrier Aggregation. these include MIMO carriers or to measure downlink/uplink signals simultaneously. Processing power is delivered from the N7145A FPGA processing module and N7140A CPU module. These collectively deliver onsite data reduction, speedy measurements and rapid data transfers.

On top of that, the Agilent U4431A has a raw mode that allows the designers to observe time-correlated data embedded with each protocol. These states can be shown as listing or waveforms.
