The 2200 Series Panel Mount Trackball is specifically designed and manufactured to ensure maximum resistance to hard use, abuse, and vandalism and in tun providing a smooth, responsive and precise cursor control.The Storm 2200 Series 38mm Trackball with its robust version, featuring a tough phenolic resin ball sealed against the ingress of liquids & dust, enables the trackball to function efficiently in wet, dirty or aggressive environments.
The Vandal resistant version in turn features a stainless steel retention ring and a steel ball (10J BS EN 60068-2-75: 1997).The cables required for establishing the connection to USB or PS2 systems are supplied separately. Unlikely, each device is also featured being programmed priory to automatically configure the USB or PS2 connectivity.
The trackball consists of two selector click buttons which are not supplied by the manufacturer.These buttons can be configured as per the users request providing either left and right click functions or for both buttons to provide left click functions only. Further, these trackballs can be installed either as a flush mounted component in a control panel or as equipment housing.
