Circular Plastic Connectors (CPC) provide a rugged, dependable connector system suitable with a wide range of applications. Designers are ensured efficient use of real estate and mounting options which include panel mount free-hanging and wire-to-board mechanisms through its rounded configuration. Type III+ or Size 20 signal contacts are accepted by receptacle and plug housings, as well as Type XII power contacts or AMP POWERBAND (size 8) contacts.
There are six series for the housing designs in order to handle standard and high density signal with a power current of up to 50A per contact and pairings of signal and power in a single housing. Several configurations also offer sealing to IP67. The CPC line includes accessories to complete the cable or panel assembly process like: cable clamps, boots, keying plugs, and sealing caps.

The connectors are designed according to the pin-socket principle. The inner conductors are soldered on, while the outer conductors are screwed or crimped on. Connection possibilities exist for a number of different cables including highly flexible cable types (with foam insulation) with low attenuation or small diameter.
