BGS VAC-1 is known for being a high-quality vacuum gauge, suitable for Pirani sensors defined by a hot filament. The item is operated using AA rechargeable batteries, which allow an impressive eight hours of operation. During operation, users will notice that the gauge not only displays the vacuum readout, but also stores the vacuum curve in the internal memory. The device makes use of USB connectivity to make it easy to collect all information on a PC, using relevant software included in the package.
The kit includes a charger for the batteries, a Pirani sensor with a 1/4 gas thread, a shielded cord by Pirani with L=1mt, a carrying bag, software for the PC, a USB cable with a length of 1m, and test and calibration certificates.

The VT-Series Vacuum Gauges by Teledyne Hastings Instruments (THI) have a strong reputation among customers for being stable, accurate and reliable even under the most demanding conditions, with long operating life and low maintenance needs. These units are available with ranges of 0 to 100, 0 to 1,000 mTorr and 0 to 20 Torr and feature self contained gauge circuits (attached to the back of the direct reading meter). They are based on THI’s rugged but sensitive noble metal TC gauge tubes, specifically customized for each range. These tubes can be easily matched and exchanged without needing calibrations, and feature temperature rate and temperature change compensation as well as excellent corrosion resistance.
