It has a microcontroller unit for a quantitative determination of released H2S from sewers as also sensor technology at two or more selected measurements points. The H2S has adapted regulation of chemicals for water treatment in sewage systems. A mobile microcontroller in the unit includes a data acquisition and data transmission tool, with digital and analogue input connections for different measurands. It also has a digital and analogue alarm output connection to control dosing of pumps for treatment of valves, chemicals etc. Data from the H2S can be downloaded by internet transfer line. It is a self-learning system of settings which has immediate reaction to local circumstances.

S-Online, an intelligent device capable of online determination of sulphides, and measures sulfides/H2S even those that fall below the odor threshold in wastewater. The presence of sulfides/H2S can be determined in aqueous solution by combining an extremely efficient gas extraction and a special kind of detection method. The sample is first acidified to form H2S gas, after which the analyzer solution in H2S gas will degass it. The gas then reaches an amperometric sensor, sensitive enough to detect H2S. Any interference in the system will not affect the sensitivity of measurement. Hence, the device can successfully monitor industrial wastewater that contains alkaline wastewater, hydrocarbons or ammonia. Sample is automatically collected. S-Online is integrated with an automatic back-purging device, it makes it strong and almost maintenance-free. The device boasts of a wide measuring range, which can be adjusted according to application. There are digital and analog outputs to get results transferred.
