Fairchild Semiconductor The FAN7382 is a monolithic half-bridge gate driver IC. It enables to drive MOSFETs and IGBTs that operate up to +600V. A combination of Fairchild's high-voltage process and common-mode noise canceling technique ensures the high-side driver's stable operation under high dv/dt noise circumstances. An advanced level shift circuit enbales high-side gate driver operation of up to VS = -9.8 V (typ.) for VBS = 15V.

The input logic level is formulated to ensure compatibility with standard TTL-series logic gates. UVLO circuits for both channels prevents any malfunction when VCC and VBS fall below the specified threshold voltage. Output drivers typically source/sink 350mA/650mA, respectively, increasing suitability for fluorescent lamp ballasts, PDP scan drivers, motor controls, etc.
