The XDR2 model manufactured by Michelin, is a tire that features deeper tread depth of 7-9 mm to deliver an enhanced resistance against crown damage. This product also has a larger volume of usable rubber, therefore increasing tread life by 10 to 15%. Moreover, an undertread rubber, which is 10% thicker than the standard, and a better anchoring tread blocks provide supplementary resistance against damage.

Furthermore, XDR2 is equipped with a C2 technology casing design that enables to reduce heat build up of the tire.
