The Card Motor LAT3 from SMC is a high-tech miniature e-actuator and a lightweight and compact device with multiple features. The dimensions of this small card motor are very small with 50mm width, 9mm thickness and 60mm length, and it weighs about 130g depending on stroke. It is as small as a business card and has miniaturized transportation, pushing and length measurement systems.The LAT3 compact card motor comprises the linear motor, linear guide and displacement sensor, and is easily installed as the cable connector remains below the actuator. It is highly flexible and adaptable due to the various mounting options available.
