Centrifugal separator - Soft Shot®
Flottweg offers separators with Soft Shot discharge system. Soft Shot has minimal noise. The separators can be used in rooms where no special/acoustic protection measures are essential. The solid discharge system allows exact combinations of partial and full discharges. Adapting the discharge type permits the finest operating method, depending on the products and the stability of solid. This can be controlled using a simple menu system with PLC. The remnants of the separated solid can be found in the outlet openings, which can be closed by vertically positioning the piston valve during the separation procedure. The movements of the piston valve are hydraulically monitored by the control water.
