The SafetyEYE system consists of a wide range of features that are constructed to offer one cohesive safety unit. Each individual system consists of a a control unit, sensing device, the SafetyEYE Configurator and other accessories.
The Sensing device consists of three cameras that transmit grayscale imaging. The Control unit is comprised of an analysis unit, and features an integrated safety and control system that can be modified. This integrated system does not require calibration unlike most multi-camera systems. The analysis unit processes and image data and then generates appropriate signals as needed, such as proximity or zone violations, to the programmable safety and control system. The device immediately stops when the safety and control system receives a warning signal.

The features include the high sensitivity of the camera to the IR illumination; unified picture storage and peak white inversion. Its shutter speed is low and it contains a chip with enhanced infrared sensitivity. The other features involve 49-zone programmable back-light compensation, broad dynamic, peak-white inversion and adjustable electronic shutter guaranteeing the good quality of images.
It has a built-in ID system for addressing through RS485 or TTL and the positioning is done through the on-screen display menu or through the remote positioning software. The alarm inputs causes up to 4 digital images which are stored in the camera and accessible remotely.
