This IFM compact vibration monitor with transmitter and switching output provides easy and permanent machine protection. It can measure vibrations to a maximum of 50 mm/s on a non-rotating component surface, and its vibration monitoring is permanent according to ISO 10816. For accuracy in measurement, the unit alarms through a switching contact when the reading goes beyond the adjustable limit value. Also, the switch point and response delay is adjustable, and it can send out a signal of 4...20 mA that displays directly at the control desk. Another is that it has a two-ring setting adjustment for improved read out.
